Sundowner Strawberries

The rubbishy grown-in-a-poly-tunnel-100s-of-km-from-here aren't our thing.  But the grown-here-and-fresh-as-you-like Erdbeeren are very much our thing.  These three will not survive the weekend.

I've said before that I really like the fact that things have seasons here.  You get strawberries (Erdbeeren = Earthberries) for about 6 weeks now and then they're gone.  I like looking forward to them arriving.

Saturday was lovely. 

Except when we went shopping. 

Way too many idiots...  maybe if you own a Mercedes your brain stops working on the weekends. 

And now I think about it, weekdays too.

I took out my frustration on dandelions on the path and mowed the lawn* as well.

*Actually the bit of the garden with assorted mosses and dandelions and some grass.
