Hesketh Arms, Churchtown

We met up with our daughter and husband and his father to have a delicious lunch!  Then we went into the botanic gardens for an ice-cream!  The sun was shining, I only wish we could have stayed longer!  

On the way the hedgerows were so green with the hawthorn laden with blossom and the horsechestnuts proudly bearing their flowering candles.  One road was entirely lined with magnificent Horse Chestnut trees.

Tonight is Eurovision song night!  I was sorry to see Ireland eliminated!
