Smoke in the morning

The last couple of morning we've woken up to the smell of nearby prescribed bush burnings. Today was particularly bad with most of the city covered for a long portion of the day. They only have a limited window to do this while it's cooler and dry so obviously they maximise the time as much as possible!

Spent most of the day exploring the historic city of Guildford near the Swan Valley. Pretty cool place to have a wander around. Lunch at Perth institution Alfred's Kitchen (secret recipe pea and ham soup) was a winner! A wander around some cool antique shops and foodie places, coffee stop. Nice way to spend an Autumn day!
