Y Griben
Best described as a fairly* grand day out.
Leaving the hordes to tackle Wales highest peak we turned off the Miners Track and took a lesser known line into the high mountains. It looks pleasingly implausible from Glaslyn, but proved to be type one fun all the way to the Bwlch (col). We then avoided the crowds on Snowdon by turning South East and continuing our scramble along the little summits that took us across to Llwidd and its impressive cliffs - where we were rewarded with excellent views in every direction - the crepuscular rays to the West sneaking in to extras. Then the long and now quiet wander back out to the pass. Wales at its best.
