The important things to an 8 year old boy

Tonight was curriculum night for Nick's grade. He has a fantastic teacher that I've known for a long time. She's wonderful with the kids. Nick has already been excited about the use of his new planner and what he's learning.

While in class I took a peak inside his desk. As suspected, the lego pen that he wasn't sure about was right on top. So he DOES use it :-). I had a few pointers on thedesk organization so I rearranged and placed post its so he'd know how to maintain the order.

That will last about 2 minutes but he'll know I was there, and loved him. It should be a fun and educational year.
