More art and steps!

Back to the Arsenale to show K the various exhibits....enjoyed taking some photos at odd angles with some of the art. Had a lovely wander, enjoyed a lot and dodged the politician visitors, the very strangely attired arty types, and the odd exhibits.
Sun came out and it was very warm...glad of the gelato
Wandered through the city, first of all following signs to the Lithuanian pavilion, then a lovely pizza and shopping for N's birthday (carafe and tumblers).
Stop off at the hotel, exhausted, then after a brief rest and change we headed to La Fenice opera house and saw Sleeping Beauty (extra). Lovely old fashioned ballet...fabulous costumes. Not very well behaved audience but we enjoyed it and glad we went.
