Woodland beauty

P worked at this old tree root for days. When we were digging to expand our garden we found the remains of a large old cedar several feet underground. Our land was logged years ago and I guess the foresters took the tree but buried the stump. No wonder. The roots went on forever, spreading in for directions. We burnt out the centre and then worked to pull out the roots with our little tractor. These are the remains of one of them. More texture for this week's challenge.
