Precious and the paediatricians

Sounds like a good name for a pop group!

This image is of the Precious and her Malawian colleagues from the paeds ward at Nkhoma Mission Hospital. Today is her final day at work after a year living in Nkhoma. I know that she and Gustavo have mixed feelings about leaving, but I for one will be so happy to have her home again! Both Gussies will begin GP training in August, so have some time to get used to being back in the UK again.

The Ards Man and I will travel to Edinburgh next week to give the Precious a great big hug (and Gustavo too, if we can catch him)!

It has been a long year for us, with lots of things happening. Although FaceTime is great, it's not so good as being with the Precious and spending time together.
