Arachnid

I normally avoid creepy crawlies but when the sun finally came out (oh so) briefly this morning and illuminated this web in my folks back garden I just had to check it out. It was massive. Easily 3 foot across in all directions. It has to be said it was very impressive and the owner was enjoying a mid-morning snack in the middle.

Just as well because the day was rubbish and I didn't get out again.
