Childhood Staple

Whenever I see this on the shelf in the supermarket, I always think of my mother and remember her telling us how excited she and my aunts used to get when it was "Vesta Chow Mein!" for tea when they were kids. My grandma is a fantastic cook, so it was a rare treat for them to have "convenience food". We've only eaten it once in my childhood, though, as my father "will not have this plastic food in the house"!!!!
