Tucked In For the Night

Our little dogwood tree is a good twenty feet high now, and covered with these big glowing yellow-green flowers. Quite a show stopper. This skipper looks like he found a good place to spend the night, although he's not very well camouflaged.

My exciting day included a visit to the doctor (clean bill of health, yay!), the crafting of a strawberry rhubarb pie (terrific with whipped cream, yay!), and the purchase, finally, of two 6-paks of tomato plants (going in the ground tomorrow, yay!). Oh, and I finished the very charming A Gentleman in Moscow. No wonder I'm tired. Or maybe it's the after effects of pie.
