I've just gotten in from my second meeting at my local photographic society.

On the face of it, to be honest, it was a bit depressing.

Such amazing photographs.
Like beautiful paintings.
Art works.

Er, my photographs don't look at all like that!

I asked the guest speaker afterwards a simple question. At least I thought it was simple!
How do you make your photographs look like that?

I don't know what he thought of my question.
It seemed pretty straight forward to me. Well, ok, maybe a tad over-simplified.

Did everybody else in the room already know the answer?
I think they must have done, because there was only me asking it!

Oh well, everyone has to start somewhere...!
