Having pets it's a wonderful thing, but we never think of the time when we have to make a painful decision such as the one I had to make today.  Pumbaa got sick again and we couldn't see her suffering anymore.  She fell asleep peacefully in my arms and I was able to accept her passing.  She gave us so much joy during the last 19 years.  Home feels empty without her and I am sure it will feel like that for the next few days, weeks and months.  
Zazu will miss her too.  I am sure of that.
