Great time today with Neil looking at Church growth and, interestingly, not how to get it, but what to do with it once you have it. Neil looks after 2 churches in his spare time and works as a bursar at a theological training college. His churches are:
1. The oldest wooden church in the world, new bits about 1000 years old, old bits from 6th & 7th century)
2. A second church with a rich history, dating from the mid-1100s & a contemporary wall painting of a modern nativity featuring local people (see extra)
Whilst the old wooden church gets lots of visitors, it's the second church that's seen significant growth with young families. So a great time today talking through ideas.
