Some vintage fun
We walked up to the hotel this afternoon to see if the hair salon had any time left for DJ to get a haircut. The hotel is completely full today with a conference, so no such luck, but he'll be able to get his hair cut before we leave on Saturday. Saw these pseudo-vintage bicycles standing ready on the lawn. We've got a pair of mountain-bikes at the house, but I have to say I'd prefer these ones :-) In any case, these bikes are not wild nor is the image in any way wide, so it's a challenge free Blip for a change.
Note that there are also all the paraphernalia to play a gentle round of croquet on the lawn, or do a bit of cricket practice ;-) Gave the image an extra vintage touch with the help of Nik's Color Efex
So looking forward to tomorrow, going to Edinburgh to the National Museum of Scotland and hoping to meet a couple of Blippers there (11 am, centre of the Grand Gallery).
Remember, tomorrow is also Abstract Thursday with tag #AT98 and the optional theme of 'painterly', be that all natural or faffed.
Thanks so much for your great comments, stars and even two faves for Alexander Peacock, the regal white peacock at Scone Palace
