Cardinal rules. Today I taught a few of those, and someone taught me one back.

Anything times 0 is always going to be 0. Any number divided by a different number can be restated in a different way. With that I'm fairly confident that the score for the daily 15 maths calculations shall be faster and with fewer mistakes.

Another one was that it is sometimes easier to play a tune on a fiddle when you are concentrating on your finger positioning rather than the sheet music. So much easier and the result, so much better.

Oh and I learned that readin the question properly always helps in finding the solution. Bizarre, I had never heard that one before.
