The North East coast
Another morning at the harbour in Peterhead. The fishing trawler Noordzee was high and dry and undergoing refurbishment. As her name suggests she was built in the Netherlands, back in 1980, but in 2012 she was transferred to the UK and is now registered in Troon (TN).
The first "extra" shows the Ugie Runner, the port tender, heading out of the harbour with a couple of super-trawlers in the background.
I then left the busy harbour and headed a few miles down the coast to Longhaven where the Scottish Wildlife Trust have a cliff top reserve. The second extra gives you an idea of the terrain. Not a place to visit if you suffer from vertigo!
