Manesty In The Valley

An awesome day out on the Hawesend side of Derwent water. We all decided to go for a swim in the rain, Andy and Chris decided to swim out to the island and I jumped off the pier while Julian went for a swim around the shore. It was so cold and exhilarating... until it came to the freezing cold struggle climbing out and wrestling our clothes back on, hilarious. Afterwards we walked to Manesty wood ,the huge trees and rocky shores are really beautiful, not to mention the views down Borrowdale.
