Farewell to Michael

Today I attended my cousin's funeral.
He was a Catholic brother so it was a long, formal service with all the trimmings, but very moving and respectful.
Michael himself was one of the loveliest, most genuine people you could meet.
He was a regular attender at family functions and we got to know him more in recent years since his retirement, and with more functions to attend. Unfortunately too often funerals.
He had 5 siblings and with several cousins there also it was a good get together and farewell,
