There was a poetry reading at work today, organised by the Bradford Dementia Group. John Killick has been working with people with dementia for twenty years, listening to and noting their spoken thoughts and observations, and re-presenting it as poetry. He's published a number of collections of the poems, and has talked about the approach on radio.

The poems seemed to carry the authentic voice of the people that John worked with, and together gave a compelling insight to their world.

I sought an image at least partly in the spirit of the event.
