Liberation Day

Guernsey celebrated 72 years of liberation today. In 1945 the war ended and Guernsey was freed from German occupation. Tonight we were invited to the Festiva concert which was like a last night of the proms. It was brilliant! We then went to watch the firework display in town. Today has been a holiday and the weather even though a tad chilly was sunny. Perfect!
