50 Shades of Green

I have several sunflowers that are growing in pots that the birds planted this winter. I decided to let them grow. They are looking pretty good, except in the last two days someone has been munching on the leaves.

I found the culprit this morning. I have no idea what this is going to turn into, or what is on its back. (looks like eggs to me, but I don't think caterpillars do that)

I think this could be a mono shot since it is all shades of green.

I am grateful for the volunteer flowers and bugs that give me my Tiny Tuesday blips!
