Low force
We set off home but decided to make the most of the day stopping off in upper Teasdale in Co. Durham to do a circular walk taking in Low Force and High Force. I had never visited the area and it was quite a revelation - an area of spectacular beauty and a world Geopark of special scientific interest. The river itself was beautiful but so were the fells with the lambs gambolling about. There was an abundance of flora and fauna, lapwings and wagtails, juniper trees and purple orchids. I shall be back.
