Grey Aberdeen

Today it was a super early start for me as I had to head to Aberdeen for a meeting.

The meeting finished up early and I headed across town to visit my Granda and Grandma. A nice surprise for them as they didn't even know I was in Aberdeen. I snapped this photo as I walked over the Brig O' Dee to their house.

Aberdeen was, as it often is, grey. It truly is a miserable place when it is grey and rainy! I lived in Aberdeen for nearly 10 years before I moved to Edinburgh and I loved it, but you know what today I was glad that at 6pm I could get on a train and go 'home'. I never thought I would feel like that about my beloved Aberdeen. But it is true Edinburgh is home now and this train can't get me back there quick enough.
