A day of working from home; another irritating run in with an application that refused to let me (virtually) meet up with colleagues. Turns out that it needed the previous version of Java than the latest one I had installed. Have turned off automatic updates...

We found a slightly battered honesty plant at the allotment yesterday so had to carefully picked the papery covers off from their lovely silvery supports. A very pleasurable pastime.The allium flower is just one of last years shallots or leeks gone mad - Mr H wondered if it might dry out in an elegant fashion.
