Di's Gates
Where all the flowers were laid after the death of Diana. And in one of the parts of central London with the cleanest air. That's what I learnt this evening at the RGS lecture on London's air quality.
Truly scary figures about the intensity of carbon particles in some of the busiest streets where there is an intensity of jammed up buses and cabs. And by contrast the centre of Hyde Park has about half the level of the worst areas , even though they are close to each other.
So the message is, when you want to go window shopping do it in the middle of Kensington Gardens. Or did I misunderstand the Professor's message?
