I met up with some lovely old friends today and their babies.  We go back a long way and partied pretty well together once upon a time.  None of us live very close to each other, so it's quite and effort to meet up.  I wasn't too sure about how the day would go, fearing children and long car journey's, but we had a great time. 

It's funny seeing how we are all approaching mother-hood totally differently, but we could have predicted that as we're all such different characters.  Fortunately, we know each other well enough to know we'll have different views on things and can enjoy our differences. 

The student has had a long day in the library, another exam tomorrow.  The only thing this Masters has taught me is that I don't have the right personality to do a Masters!
