The Duke

We went back to Saturday's venue to thank the lovely staff for giving Normous a great party. (I forget to add a tip to the bill on the day!) They seemed so pleased to see us and were glad that we had enjoyed ourselves so much.
It is an unusual building. The original central part was extended in the local Lovelace brick and flint style in the middle of the 1800s. It was a coaching inn on the road between Guildford and Leatherhead on a landmark right-angle bend. Now, recently refurbished, it looks set to become a local favourite.
