Stratigraphy

Another trip up the road to John o'Groats, for an ice cream and to watch tourists.  There's a sand bank next to the hotel, with sand martin nests.  Didn't manage to photography any of the little blighters, as they're far too fast for me.  But the stratigraphy is sort of interesting, with varying layers of sand, shell, and soil.
