A very special quilt

I know this isn't the sharpest of images but it is a very special one. Our little quilting group met for the first time this "autumn" session and along came D who announced that her eagerly awaited first great-grandchild, Freddie, had arrived in Australia. She is our oldest member and I'm sure I have mentioned her immaculate work before. At the same time as hearing of Freddie's arrival she also became the proud owner of an IPad so she will be able to Skype them. She is only into her 90's.....D started to make this colourful Alphabet quilt when she heard the news that there was a baby on the way. On the borders she added pockets in which she put little soft toys from the Beatrix Potter collection. The quilt was then sent to Australia to await the birth and now she has a photograph of it and Freddie on her IPad to show to us all....I simply had to blip it (hence the lack of clarity!)
