Sunday: Milltown

We achieved a major milestone in British Columbian terms today by purchasing two very lovely bikes from Canadian Tire. We have rapidly come to realise that you need to display an extreme amount of interest in the outdoors here and we are feeling very left out, not having bikes. It's actually going to be great getting out and about on them although we do need to get a bike rack next.

We met our friends, P and J, for lunch at Milltown. It was a great day to sit outside - the weather was glorious. Coincidentally, H and J were also there so we chatted with them - it felt like a very sociable weekend as we have seen everyone we are friends with in Vancouver.
