Day 2 - Universal

I set up the uber account this morning and as we were late starting off and had missed the hotel shuttle we took our first ride. What an amazing and fabulous service.

Universal was our favourite last time we visited in 1992 and although it has changed hugely, it did not disappoint. In fact we have to return as we only got half way round. When I first mentioned this trip way back at Christmas time dfb24 told me how wonderful the Harry Potter World was, and she was right!

Day 1 involved the the Escape from Gringotts, Diagon Alley with all its shops, the Hogwarts Express, the Forbidden Forest and Butter Beer, which was divine. Then we went on to Jurassic Park, King Kong and a Popey and Bluetooth water ride that had us drenched from head to toe and all underclothes too.

We managed a walk down IDrive this evening to get a couple of essentials, ate pizza and then watched our ice cream being made at the best ice cream parlour ever.

Mr L is already asleep while I type this, I just hope the sporadic wifi holds on while it posts!
