Good Grief 264

I didn't get home until after 2am last night/morning so had a lovely gentle day today.
I'd had an open invite to my friend's and so I headed over there after my walk yesterday. They were planning to light a fire in their garden fire pit and have supper outside. The family had gone to bed leaving us to the clear night sky, the occasional calls of a solitary oyster catcher and curlew and the fire working hard to heat the still chill spring night air as we talked.
