Unchain Me !!!!

We met my husband's sister and brother-in-law for "cheap eats" yesterday, and took a photo drive in NW Portland, and found this treasure!!

For many Portlanders, the area of stores north of the Fremont Bridge and Thurman Street are a bit of an enigma. It is an area where, unlike the Pearl, you cannot tell the difference between warehouses and repurposed warehouses. It feels like how the Pearl District felt right before it exploded.

One of the most enigmatic appearing places in this area is a bright blue warehouse with the word "Castaway" on it. What is it, you may wonder? Fortunately, Castaway sells something even more unexpected and amazing: casted bronze works of art. I thought this fella deserved a blip;)))
