The sun has got his hat on!

There are countless days when the weather forecast seems to be a little less than accurate. Usually this results in a stronger wind or more persistent heavy rain...but not today! Today the forecast promised nothing but cloud. I was quite happy with that for a spin out to be honest, I would have settled for that with a smile. 

However, the blue skies and sunshine that greeted me at 6am, whilst I enjoyed an hour in bed listening to the Sunday Hour on Radio 2, have lasted all day long. What an absolute treat! I think it is even sweeter when you don't expect it. A fantastic bike ride and beautiful weather - now that is what I call a winning Sunday! :-D
