Hard Day at the Office

I have no idea how to explain what this lady is selling so that people will know what they are. It's a stick with a piece of string attached and on the end of the string is a small box. The movement of the string on the stick makes a noise which echos in the box. I think it supposed to sound like a cricket.

Anyways, she's standing on the corner selling them and looks like she has a bit of a headache.
