Tulip

Wow, thanks everyone for the response to my 1095th Blip which zoomed up the the first page of Popular. I must have been a bit jet lagged as I had put it up on the wrong day. Apologies to anyone who thought I had arrived back a day late and I have corrected it now.
I couldn't wait to get back into the garden today and Hubby helped me with some more weeding. I discovered lots of new growth hiding under the giant clover leaves. 
This lone tulip from the bulbs I planted last year is a gorgeous colour and quite large. Peeking inside I was surprised to see it is bright blue. There is another one starting to come up so I am hoping there are more to follow. The other bulbs are showing but I can't remember what I planted apart from the freesias. I am glad I haven't missed them, but the hyacinths are past their best.
Hubby was delighted to have a home cooked meal tonight (slow baked pork ribs in the oven). He is not the best chef but he is very good at so many other things that I am happy to do most of the cooking.
