Tango

One from a show we saw in Spain. We happened to pass by the Auditorium which is about 10 minutes walk from our little house when we saw a poster for the "Broken Tango" show from Argentina. We bought a couple of tickets and duly arrived back at 9pm. We seemed to be waiting a very long time to go inside and people were voicing their irritation but finally at about 9.45 the doors opened and we all streamed inside. Being open air the seating was fairly basic but nobody seemed bothered about checking where anyone had paid to sit (there were about three different price tiers) so we plonked down in the centre. The show was late starting by about another 45 minutes and the audience began to clap rhythmically. Nonetheless, the show began and we were entranced as the cast and musicians danced and played their socks off for a good couple of hours. What a wonderful evening, not to be forgotten. Best of all, nobody came to tell me off for taking photos and indeed other people were quite openly videoing it on their phones and tablets!
