It's all gone a bit Georgia O'Keeffe

I could have cropped this to give a better view of the hoverfly (I liked the pollen grains on his back - look like sugar) but I thought the flower had a touch of the Georgia O'Keeffes about it and quite liked that too.

Rubbish day so far:
1. Rejection letter in the post. Deep gloom.
2. Discovered that the cat had been sick in one of my walking boots (fortunately discovered this before I put it on.)

On the positive side I did manage to get one lot of washing dry before the rain started.
