On the throne

The boys, being boys, were fascinated to learn Bodiam Castle had 28 toilets in its heyday. They weren't so pleased to learn there was no toilet paper in those days and the choice would be moss or leaves. They were even less keen to read cleaning toilets was down to children.

Vikki, the boys and I had a great day out. The ducks decided to join in with our picnic, even running off with a bag of raisins. Youngest Grandson retrieved it. He made a good leader of the Duck Army with his faithful troops following him everywhere. Nice to make use of our National Trust card.
