Nottingham Castle

No longer truly a castle but a duke's mansion built in the 17th century on the site of a medieval castle circa 13th century. The site is elevated and commands views of the city.

The visit was part of diversionary therapy for grandson who does like a lengthy trip away on a Saturday.
