Gateway to the Sound

Lunch at a restaurant at the Royal William Yard in Plymouth equidistant between the birthdays of M & G. This historic site was the Royal Navy's victualling yard built between 1825 and 1831 supplying the Devonport fleet with stores and munitions of all descriptions. It was released into public ownership in 1999. Accessible mainly by sea this is almost the back door to a slipway on the edge of Plymouth Sound. The extra is a larger image of Drake's Island seen through the arch.
