Crab-apple blossom

A lazy start to the day and time for a couple of cups of steaming hot coffee with breakfast before a short walk on the Common with MrM and Louie. The cherry blossom is just about over, but the crab-apple is in bloom. Hope the wind doesn't blow it off the tree too soon.

A day of chores. MrM is helping to organise a ceilidh (in aid of the red squirrel group) that takes place this evening. He's volunteered to make some food for the supper and has been cooking this afternoon. My contribution has been tidying up behind him and doing a vast amount of washing up, mainly because the thought of finding so many dirty dishes waiting in the kitchen tomorrow morning is just too much to bear! For such occasions, a dishwasher would be SO useful...
