Flatlands.

A day out to Grimsby to meet up with the council to look at a potential new cycle route from Immingham to a large employment site that will be constructed over the next few years. 

The site will, eventually, employ around 9000 people and is only a mile and a half from the outskirts of Immingham yet the road access is dominated by HGV traffic from the port, with no footway or cycleway.

This view is looking over where the new development will be and I was struck by the cloud trails, probably created by fast jets from the RAF bases in surrounding Lincolnshire.
