Mountain Roads and an Elephant

Today we had a plan, the intention was to visit Queen Sirikit Botanical Gardens, unfortunately when we arrived there we discovered that they were closed.  No idea why.  Undaunted we decided to drive further down the road,  or rather as it turned out, up the road.  The road went up and around Doi Sutep.  It was a spectacular road with incredible views over farm terraces and deep valleys.  This photo is of a Town we passed through.  My two extras are a view from the road , where you can see how winding it was, and finally the elephant we came across by the side of the road.  It was not a good stopping spot.
