Up the Line

A cycle round to Roseburn and then up the Leith (note, DW) to the old homestead. For today the surveyor and selling agent arrived to run their eyes over the place now that the tenants have left. And it was looking rather lovely in the sunshine - though as the gardener hadn't been, the sis cancelled the photographer as the garden is one of the better features, she reckons. Well, only if you've a keen appetite for gardening. Which I think I'm developing - actually, I think I'm turning into my Dad. Looking in the old garden tool shed I began to finger and select some canes. I could use those to train up the beans - good old Dad to leave them behind.
