Day Nine, Auckland to Taupo
The Wairakei Geothermal area is a mass of pipes taking steam to the turbines to produce electricity. I liked the shine of them with steam rising in many places. They use release junctions which are the pipes in extras that go up and over.
(Not sure extras are going to load)
We travelled down from Auckland via Te Awamutu, Otorohanga the Kiwiana capital of NZ and Te Kuiti visiting the Huka Falls, The Honey Farm and Wairakei.
Now have extras of the run down to the Huka Falls where the Jet boat is sitting. The other extra is a view of the inside of a bee hive where bees are making a comb. Can you see the bees in the background?
Another long day with a lot of travel and not so many stops.
