So this is a shot I would have never gotten without this new lens.... low light and daughter studying.  If I was closer, she would have fussed, moved, covered her face.  So in this instance the lens is a two thumbs up.

Rain like crazy this afternoon and evening.  There was a lovely shot of rainy leaves, but I liked this one better.

(And yes - she is watching the Crash Course history videos to get ready for the AP exam next week - eek!)
