Devon on Earth

First day in Appledore.
Nice apartment, great view.
Went out exploring with H and M. Including the Emporium where everything seemed to cost £1.50. H bought some French-style cups and saucers to take back to Paris. M bought some kitchen scales. Then cake and coffee in a cafe. What a nice-sounding sentence!
M and I went out for a 10K run in the wind and rain which turned into a 7.5 mile run for me and the boy zoomed ahead at one point and clocked up 8 miles. It was along the dunes to Westward Ho!
