The Nutcracker

In complete contrast to last night, I was back to the Bolshoi for a spot of ballet this evening! Lovely it was too. Really really good and well worth the several thousand rubles it cost when I bagged the last couple of tickets six weeks ago. I went with a friend from work and we had a cheeky couple glasses of Russian fizz before and during the performance. As you do!

I was pleased with the photos I'd taken, some on maximum zoom. I'd never have got the same results with the D40 given the distance we were from the stage! I even had a few good 'uns to choose from.

...and I've just heard some music from The Nutcracker on an Always advert. Nice!
